Default Road King Seats

I just trade my 05 Dyna for a 06 Police Road King, looking at seat for the Road King , good riding for trips, but I'm 5'7" so looking for one that will be low to bring me flat footed, I'm also looking at the low profile shock to help low the bike down, but the good seat for long trip is a must
thanks

I swapped out the stock seat on my '06 RK Classic and really like it. I also got
the rider backrest and love it. I was thinking about a Corbin seat, but I wasn't
sure I'd like it and for what they cost, I didn't want to chance buying it and not
liking it.

A Sundowner and much more comfortable on long rides. With the stock seat, my azz would
go numb after about 2 hours.

Another vote for the Sundowner. A great seat.

Solo Mustang for me, and then the stock rear pillion works with it.

If you want a good seat that sits you low but has comfort try the RALLY RUNNER harley sells, they are made for them by CORBIN and are real leather, the comfort cell foam corbin uses is thin but I was sold first ride, much better than stock, 369.00 retail, but I got mine during a 20% off sale for 295.00

Hey Bob,

Welcome to the darkside!

Like you I am inseam challenged. For my solo seat I use one from C&C seats out here in Paramount, CA. The Road King seats work on my Street Glide. They will let you test ride any of their seats: http://ccseats.com/p_hd_king.htm

For longer rides I go with the HD Sundowner. Very comfortable but definitely sits you higher.

I recently added Buddy Pro's Hi-Low air ride system. It drops me lower without sacrificing any riding comfort: http://americanvtwinmotors.com/hi-lo.html

Obviously just make sure you have the seat mounting arrangement figured out as most Police bikes have a different seat mounting arrangement than their civilan counterparts.

Take care and I hope to see ya at PVHD soon,

Primo
