I am looking at buying a used Road Glide.
Can you all give me any details between the differences between the 04,05 and 06 models?
Radio?
Clutch?
etc........
I have read on other tech boards that the stock '05 heads had the valves more shrouded than prior years. They changed again in '06. Point being, in stock form, the '05 heads don't flow as well as the earlier or later versions. This wouldn't stop me from buying an '05 as the first engine mods I would do would involve head work regardless of what year bike.
Thanks for the info.
What is your alls opinion of the 05' sound of the radio, versus the 06' Harmon Kardon?
I rented a 06 model a month ago, and was really impressed at the sound quality at highway speeds..
