Default Rain X?

The product warning label says don't use on plastic. I have heard of some people using Rain X on stock windshields and helmet shields.

Anyone ever used it?

Thanks in advance.

I have a big problem with fogging visors, winshields, and instrument lens. We need a palsitc polish thats OK for pexi. I don't think rainX would be OK.

Besides all the above. Years ago on my Goldwing the rain rolls up the outside of the windshield then flies off, if you were to put Rain X it would roll up then roll back down the inside of the windshield and you now have double the rain on your windshield. Have not used it on bikes in 20+ years.

Rejex - On the whole bike except the rubber. Freaking amazing.

My cousin went nuts on the stuff on his car -- Rain-X on one window, wax on another, Rejex on another. No contest whatsoever. Of course, he's the type to actually jack up the car and take the wheels off to clean them (which he did - Then he Rejex'd them).

It will breakdown the polycarbonate, plexiglas ,etc over time..

It gives the spider webbing effect, crazing, cracking type look...

It will also make it brittle over a long use.
