Default Windshield Triple Pouches

Procrastination finally pays off... I meant to buy a triple bag last year but was too busy comparing them on line, trying to figure out the best one and I never got to it... Here's the one you want:

I just bought and installed the latest HD windshield / fairing / dashboard triple pouch. HD Part # 58900-11. At $89, it's $20 cheaper than the previous model. The new model has magnet closure (magnets sewn inside the fabric so no rusting...) as opposed to velcro (horrible- wears out and velcro on such a nice piece of machinery? Anyway, when I went to buy it, the dealer rang it up and it was $109 so I said "I think it's supposed to be $89, are you giving me last year's model?" To make a long story short- it was last years. He managed to find this year's model so I got to compare the two side by side. The new one is way better. I've spent a lot of time looking at after-market brands and I found some that seemed more appealing than last year's HD model. However, hands down, the new model is better than all I've seen. Also, you know the HD is going to fit your bike perfectly so I wouldn't bother looking at other bags. There are other bags that have bigger pouches but these are big enough. I have no problem getting all of the immediately necessary things in them: wallet (not the giant George Costanza variety), set of keys, mp3 player, cell phone, sunglasses and garage door opener in them with some room to spare. I have a 2000 Electra Glide Classic, by the way.

Now I think I'm off to order an air shock pump for $24 plus $6 shipping from bk rider ($49 for the HD pump) unless I read otherwise on the forum.

I saw that bag in my dealer the other day and it looked very good. Could you take a pic or two and show us what it looks like on the bike?

Sigh...this post is going to cost me $750 (in addition to the cost of the bag).

But I am curious as to how strong those magnets are. If you toss your wallet in there and it has a couple of credit cards in it, are you risking the mag stripe data?

LOL! I need a little icon thing that has me opening my wallet and the money flying out! That would probably become the most often used icon on the forum.

Yet another windshield bag that doesn't look like it'll work with a Hogtunes Tweeter Pod.

I have the T-Bags windshield bags with the "cheapo" velcro since 2009 and after 3 years they still look great and the velcro still grabs. By the way, if anything happens to them, T-Bags replaces them for free without any difficulty. I know a guy who had his middle bag cracked under the flap after 2 years and T-Bags sent him a new one, no question asked.
Personally, I don't care for the HD one, particularly the fact that it doesn't fully match the width and curves of the inner fairing.
Here is a pic of my T-Bags. The HOG, Penguins and Steelers pins are extra. LOL
