Prior to going on our 6800 Km trip in 8 days I contacted Jim at Fastaire and told him that I would be in the Reno area with another rider who were interested in his windshields. Anyway Jim gave me all the details on his shields over the phone and to give him a call when we arrived. We tried out the demo shields in different sizes and shades and I wound up with the 9 inch dark tint and my buddy bought the 8 inch dark tint. We also bought the speard head chrome trim for the fairing. I have to give kudo's to Jim and his service, he removed and installed the demo shields and installed the new shields. This I thought was a guy who really cares for his customers. From Reno to Alberta in rain and the windshield performed excellent. If you want a good windshield and excellent service give Jim a call and he will look after you. Link to his site below.
I have purchased many windshields from him over the years and Jim is consistently on top in customer service and great prices. No matter what happens, he is their after the sale.
This guy really cares and he rides, so he knows what works.
Thank-you, Jim.

I ordered an 8" dark gray windshield from Fastaire, when it arrived it was broken. I called Jim and he shipped a new one right away. I have purchased 4or5 windshields from fastaire over the last 9 years and have never been disappointed.
Fastaire shields are the best bang for the buck. I have had an 8 inch smoked version on my 07 FLHT for two years. Just got back from a 2262 mile trip to Key West with the Mrs. on the back. I am just under 5-8 and it works for me. Only problem I had was over-tightening the center screw and causing a pressure web that is just visible.....that darned little cloudy half moon just at the bottom of the center of the shield.
