I actually had something like this on a Honda CBX back in 1982 or so. It worked excellently, and didn't look bad at all. As I recall, the hardware was very high quality and the wind management was great.

how would a clear bat wing look with everything cleaned up in there..kind of like them computers with the clear side and led lighting..

I saw one of these on a Harley years ago.
It was a Sprint, but that's sort of a Harley.
Horrible frickin machine actually.
Kind of like a Chevrolet Geo (red headed step child)
