My HK changes modes from whatever I'm on AM/FM/AUX to WB by its self. Have talked to a couple of guys and they ahve the same issue. Any easy fixes? Not a big deal but is a real PITA. Somtimes it will go for a hour, then the next 2 or 3 minutes.
mine did that as well. or every start-up it would switch to WB. i had to turn it off before turning off the bike. sometimes, after turning it off, the screen would still show that it was on, but it was off.
i was gonna bitch about it to HD but then i went and smashed it with a driveway/ditch. now im going aftermarket.
Are you sure there were not any weather watches/warnings issued in the area? The newer radios will switch to the weather band when the "emergency broadcast system" is activated on a weather channel in the area. It then stays on the weather band until you change it back.

Turn off the weather alert function on the WB setting
Mine switched channels a few times last year. I finally got it repaired while under warranty. Now the audio is cutting out evey once in a while. Before the warranty was out on the scoot They replaced the 3-way speaker switch. Now it's doing it again and the warranty has expired.

Funny this is posted, this happened to me yesterday. But I've got a Sony with the Biketronics adapter, I noticed my radio going in and out of setting mode and turned up and down. Then it quit so it has to be the volume/mode switch.
mine was doing the same thing (sony and bikertronics kit ) i took the handle bar switch housing apart moved the wiring harness around a little bit tucked it in the indent a little better and have not had anymore troubles. might be worth a try, worked for mine
