Pipes dont need to be treated. Make sure you get the old gaskets out and put new ones in.

Make sure to wipe your pipes with glass cleaner before you fire it up, that will remove any oils from your hands that got on the pipes during installation. If you can put a socket on a ratchet, you can do it. The V02 install is a breeze, just lay everything out beforehand and do a dry run of the install.
