I installed the PC-V today on the WG...took about 10 minutes...pretty easy. Took it for an hour+ ride before coming here to work. I'll have to say...I can't see any difference between it and the stock setup with the HD download done to it. I guess I'll have to run it some more to get a feel for the heat being produced and performance response. That and when I get home in the morning I'll hook up the computer and watch it run....I don't know though....we'll see...just thought I'd vent a little bit...
You ran the stage 1 download with that air cleaner and those pipes?
If these mods were done when new, did you receive a SERT with the bike?
Just curious if they dialed it in on a dyno with your picured bolt on goodies, or just threw the stage 1 down load at it and your observations are based on that?
I have modified stock exhaust, the SE air cleaner, and she sucks air to beat hell but is just a tad flat. I read somewhere the stage 1 download bumped up the rev limiter, and added some ignition advance under lots of throttle which would help wake it up. I am setting on the fence and need to pick a direction here quickly with the weather breaking.
I don't think anyone expecting huge power or torque gains will be happy with just exhaust and an air cleaner (and download or tuner) versus hard parts, but, I can feel alot less restriction with the above 2 mentioned and if the stage 1 download extracted the last little bit of potential I would be happy.
I get the impression the stage 1 does nothing for heat, as that is a by product of the mixture targets in the ecm, and you need one of the many tuners to address that.
Let me refrain what my setup was prior to the install of the PC-V. I bought it in January with the VH Big Radius 2-2's, a HD Screamin Eagle Intake, and the HD rev limiter/ignition timing download. I rode it like that for it's first 500 miles. Last week, I took off the SE Intake and installed the S&S Tuned Induction. When I did that, I noticed an immediate increase across the board. It pretty much blew be away with how noticeable it was. Last night before work, I installed the PC-V. On the hour+ ride I took before reporting to work, I didn't really notice a difference. Like I said...I'm gonna look closer at it when I get home this morning.

Yeah...I figured that after I parked it last night. I emailed Jamie @ Fuelmoto b/c I remembered when I ordered the PCV, I failed to mention I already had the stage 1 download done to it. Hopefully he can get back to me with a new MAP for me to upload. I'm not going to do the dyno tune to it until I upgrade the cams next winter.

Did you have the reg SE stage 1 intake or the SE Heavy Breather which offers improved performance and air flow when compared to the stock or Screamin' Eagle High Flow air cleaner?
It was the Screaming Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner Kit P/N 29406-08. It was the one that fit behind the stock cover. I still have it it anybody is interested.
