Well... I bought a 13 Road Glide..... I promised myself I would focus on comfort stuff before I started playing with power stuff...... but....
I picked up a stage 1 air cleaner while I was at the dealer I asked the guy behind the counter at what point I would have to worry about doing a stag 1 down load ? he told me Harley quit doing those. I would have to buy a tuner and get it dyno'd. I said "Oh Really" and walked away.
If I do a stage 1 air cleaner do I need to mess with anything ?
I asked the same question and was convinced that yes if you add the a better than stock AC you should get some kind of tuner to richen it up. I became convinced as the pipes started to blue. then there are others that will say no need until you get pipes too.
The plugs will get white which is an indication your running lean, I would either do XIEDs or a PCV with an economy map.....personally I prefer the PCV. For $299 theres a lot you can do, as apposed to the XIEDs theres just so much you can do to richen it up then your right back to the beginning.
That guy was full of BS....did a stage 1 download today when I had a Screamin Eagle Ventilator AC installed. You're better off talking to the service guys maybe.....
I got a 2013 Ultra limited installed Stage 1 air Filter put Vance and Hines slip ons

Talk to my dealer he Suggest to still do the Downlow 149.00 dollars pus labor So idid that
And it's running even better. I will stop there very happy keep the Cat pipe stock
Will not mess with anything else very Happybwith results and the sound
