Newbie Question!
Hello all,
I have been riding for years but just bought my first bagger. A beautiful 1990 Tour Glide Ultra Classic. It came with lower fairings but they weren't attatched. The mounting hardware I got totals 4 bolts 4 washers and 2 nuts. I fidgured out that the top bolts into the turn signal mounts, but on the bottom the fairing has a hole but where do I bolt it to? There are no brackets on the highway bars or anywhere else that I can find. Am I missing something physically or mentally? Any help would be great and a picture would be really great!
Thanks, Tom

I can't help much with this question, but here is the best advice for newbies and old timers: Find a service manual for your year as soon as you can. It will pay for itself many times over.
Pretty sure it does cover the lowers as it's a standard feature on the Ultra. Some of the old timers will chime in soon to help out.
Look at the diagram in this link. I bet you are missing part# 7.

Thanks everyone! Nubmer 7 is the winner! For some reason if I click on links to .jpgs I get a message saying I am not allowed to view that page. Probably because I am new to the forums but the link to other web pages work. Thanks again! Off to the dealer for a couple number 7's!

Thanks, thats what I thought also. I stopped at Home Depot on the way to the dealership and bought two 1 inch conduit clamps for $1.50. Works like a charm, loosen the bolt and the clamp swings right off the bar and stays attatched to the bottom of the fairing instead of staying on the bar! I'm sure I saved a few bucks and shortened the drive by 25 mins!

I didnt think it would cover accessories like that; will be thrilled if it does.
