Default Harley, Radio not my PROBLEM

After having my radio replaced 4 times by Harley I decided to call the manufacture to see what they would do about getting my money back for the repair. Well the answer they gave me was not even close to what I thought they would say. I figured they would sorry you should have used your extended coverage. What they did say is your bike is not covered under the manufactories warranty and that they couldn't help me at all and it wasn't their problem. I told them my story about 4 radio and this was my 5th now. Then when I asked to speak to his supervisor he flat out said no that he was refusing me to speak with her. Also sending corporate a letter in regards to his actions. Also called the extended warranty company and they tried to help but couldn't because the radio was still under the 90 days warranty from the repair place, so with no luck is cost me the full repair and the hopefully the fix so it doesn't happen again. Nice people after they have your money.
Tony and his crew at Iron Cross Audio was the best!!! Not only did they repair the radio, but sent me the TSB from Harley about the front handlebar clamp bolts resting on the radio and causing a vibration problem. I my case the clamp was hitting the radio too. I use the clamp (part # 55918-08) from 2011 ultra which is one piece. Being that I replace the handle bars with taller ones not only does the clamp sit lower it is also stronger but the handlebars has less vibration . Only time will tell if this condition is really fixed should only take about 3-4 weeks.

Why did you go through all that? You should have replaced that HK with something decent a loooong time ago.......
