Of trading my 1200 in for a new Road King Classic. Anyone have any advice, pros, cons?

That's a pretty radical change. If you can swing a test drive, that would be the best way to decide which model to move up to. It's a great travelling bike if you're planning on putting on big miles. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Yep, do it. The RK is a big, heavy bike, but it sure rides nice.
