I need some help. I am looking for a place to buy 2 black cherry colored helmets. I want 3/4 helmets this time. The wife and I just bought our 2nd 05 Ultra Classic. We totalled the 1st one in Myrtle Beach this year. It was only 2 1/2 months old at the time of the crash. It was Blak and gold. We bought us a Black Cherrry one this time and are going to start all over. We would like to get matching colored helmets for it but i have not had any luck locating any. If anyone has any info they can share it would be appreciated.
Last time I was faced with the color match, I got some paint from the dealer and then took both helmets to a custom painter. That was many years ago, but they came out perfectly matched to a '77 brown FLT I had in those days. I thought HD offered that color....
I bought a black bike. Not lonly does my helmet match, but so do my leathers, jackets, gloves and boots!
Sorry to be such a smart*ss. I love the Black Cherry. Perhaps an auto paint shop could come close, but I haven't seen any that color for sale. Glad to hear you're up and well. Art
