I chose the aileron grips and like them alot. Very comfortable, still great grip due to amount of rubber, and I think they look great without drawing too much attention to the eye.

I wasn't sure I would like knurled chrome when I first got them. I ended up liking them a lot. You don't feel like you need to squeeze them like you do some of the cushioned grips. Also, the texture of the knurled metal grips allows air to flow between your hands and the grips to keep them cool in warm weather. I like the H-D wide band grips I am using now. Check 'em out when you get a chance.

Hey Bounty........ I have a set of X2s on order......is it my eyes or is the black in the grips not black black.....they seem alittle lighter than the housing!!!!!!! I only want one shade of black on the controls......

then again I'm chroming out all the controls etc, so it doesn't matter???

I sat on a used bike at the dealer this weekend that had the black PM Renthal grips. Really liked the feel. Not sure about the price, but I am guessing if they are PM they are pricey.

HD Nostalgia grips for me. Great look and really comfortable. I liked the stockers too, but when I put my apes on I went with an old school look.
