Default Grip recomendations..

Planning to upgrade my grips over the winter and wondering what works. Like the look of the aileron grips, but not sure about comfort. The stockers are ok, but not comfortable for the long run. I have had the Kury ISO grips on the past and liked them, but not looking for the chrome look. Also considering the retro chopper style.

What are you all running?

Of all the ones HD sells, the stock are my favorite, the aileron ones are cheap crap, I bought a set, then figured out the chrome was all plastic, no thanks took em back, kurry makes this same design and I think theirs is metal. I will upgrade when I find a quality set, but still looking.

I like the style, contour and comfort of the X2's.

you want a grip that is comfortable and fits your hand. If you have a larger hand, you need a larger diameter grip. What is comfortable might not be cool and vice versa. Depending on how long you ride, your hands are on the bars for the length of the run. Get grips that fit.

I went with the HD Nostalgia grips. I like them. This is the best pic I have of them on the bike, sorry.

Those are one of my top 3 choices. They feel very soft and supple. How do they ride in the heat?

I put the Kuryaken ISO grips on with the throttle boss. Kindof detracts from my attempt to black almost everything out, but they look nice and by far are the most comfortable grips I've had yet. My wife reached over one day after I put them on (left grip) and commented how comfortable they felt.
