Default 2010 EG Classic

Hi all. Been hangin round for awhile. I have the opportunity to purchase a '10 EGC with around 30k miles for $15k. It was a rental, and that's what accounts for the high mileage. It was very well maintained by the rental company. Is this a fair price? What maintenance or repair issues should I expect? Should I move on it or pass? Thanks, and ride safe!

well...put it this way...if that was sitting on a dealer showroom floor..and had..say..9000 miles or so on it..they would be asking 18,500 for it...so you are getting about a 3500 dollar break, BUT you are taking a bike that lots of people have ridden, and some of them may not have known how to ride very well and could have beaten the thing...or lugged the motor...and it has 30K on it...if I was you, I would look for an 09(has the new frame like the 10), with maybe 12-15K miles...that was a one owner...you could maybe get that bike for 16K..and not have the worries a rental brings...

I agree with Joe... Maybe keep looking, Rental bikes are treated like rental cars. Not everyone beats them, but some do. I'd look for an '09 up, less than 15000 miles, around $15000 or so. But then, I bought a used Police bike, and we all know how they're worked. Best of luck.
