I want to lower my bike a few inches. I’m not a very tall guy about 5`8 and I would feel more comfortable with having my bike lowered. I Just wanted any advice on what’s out there or what I should go with. Etc: brand, how much to lower it and what’s a fair price for something like this.
Your local HD Shop should have a Lowering Kit that will fit your Bike, I installed a White Brothers on my Road Glide and it was simple and took only 10 minutes and cost $90
I saw that you can lower the front and back with the loweing kit, but this what I did, good lluck!!
I just lower my RK with low profile shocks for the rear, it came down 1" and I put on low profile bucket seat with also help lower me to the ground, I'm 5'7", I got luck, as there as at one of the local dealer for 15% and got also no sale tax, save big, the RK fit fine now,
I too an 5'8" and could not stand flat footed on my 06 RK custom.Draggin Baggers did the trick for me.Just have to play with the air pressure for a while to find youre spot. For the price and installition ease you cant go wrong.Just study installation before you start or email me and Ill give you some help on install.
