efi on these i think 96 or 97... great bike. i have 06, other than POS tensioners...no issues. by the way, you might be interested in finding used, low mileage retired cop bike. some were used hard and some hardly at all. usually can be had at fair prices. not saying all, but a lot of the departments will have the services done at the dealer and you can get a copy of all done to the bike. good luck in your search

Ok, still healing but picked up an '02 Road King Classic with 8,000 miles with custom paint and lot of chrome, Danny Gray/ Arlen Ness seat, dual 33" fishtails, 21" front wheel, whitewalls, really clean bike. Now looking to put hard bags, detachable fairing and air ride on it. Picked it up for $8400.

go for some gear drive cams, never worry about cam shoes gernading your motor ever again.

quote=mugsy19;8544048]I have an 06 RKC. I know mine has EFI and I think that EFI started in 05/06. I have had no issues. It is a great bike....it's a Harley!!!

One of the best parts of buying a Harley is shopping for a Harley. Have fun!!![/quote]

Will definitely get the gear cam drive kit. Just had my cam chain tensioners replaced 2000 miles before my softail was totaled. Kind of glad I went the cheap route that time.

As soon as I pull myself out of my hospital bed I'll get some pics of it. Forgot to say he even delivered it the 40 miles because I'm still layed up from my accident and can't put any weight on my ankle for another 65 days at least.
