Congrats on the step-up.....you'll miss that sporty.

Have fun with the mods and good thing it's black, you don't have to worry about a color change!

Check with Jamie at Fuel Moto before you pull the trigger on that A/C & tuner, he's got a wealth of knowledge, decent prices and unmatched "after the sale" support.

Depends on your budget and what you plan for future mods. IMO SERT is overkill for stage 1.

Look under the right side panel. Your bike may already have some kind of tuning device.
Everyone here is going to have their favorite tuning device. Personally, I'd highly recommend a PCIII for your machine. Fuel Moto is the place to get it. The money saved over a SERT could go towards a gear drive cam set-up. Your bike would be virtually bullet proof then.

I ride an 06 street glide, just bought my wife a sportster and it is definitely faster. I have been wondering if the bike is still covered under recalls, can I still get the problem with the rotors fixed?

What's the problem with the rotors? I have an 06 and I'm not aware of a problem.

there was a recall on possibly swapping from one side to the other, not only are they warped but they do the horrible squealing you hear so much about. I found out about the recall on here people have posted about it. One option is to switch the left and right rotors and the dealer supposedly will give you new torque bolts.
