When I had my Lowrider I replaced the horn with a Stebel which was advertised at the time as the loudest magnetic horn made. I got the automobile version which included 2 horns (high & low) and was only $20, if I remember correctly. There is no reason to buy a Harley Stebel - its the same thing except you only get one.

It fit fine after bending the tabs that plugs go on.

I just bought the Stebel high/low combo. High tone going on wife's '98 Dyna. Low tone on my 2000 Deuce.

I've got some type of air horn, the dual chrome trumpet style, Howard's, Rivco, I forgot. Had them installed at a rally in 2006. A few years back one of them stopped working. So I called to buy the single replacement trumpet. The lady on the phone suggested I try something first.

She said my air horns have a reed in them, just like in a clarinet or a saxophone. She told me to give it a shot of WD-40. That fixed my horn. I was told to do that maybe once a year to keep the reeds in good working order. So far, so good.

I broke apart a Wolo, put the horn in place of the stock and remote mounted the compressor. Was loud and ran well. The new ones don't look as if they come apart the same. I might try that direct replacement up top there for this bike.

I bought a air horn from www.metalartsinc.com It is a little bigger than stock horn and it is from their magnum line. It is a plug and play horn with flame cover. They powder coated it black at no charge. It is rated at 139 decibels. I have had it 2 1/2 years with no problems. It was pricey but I liked it

Thanks for the advise guys, I put those Kuyakn airhornd on my dads ultra. they worked good but if the horn touched the saddle bag at all it would not work. So there was alot of fine tuning. My brother thas that little chrome one with the air pump on his and that sucker is loud. I may try the one from Amazon see how that goes. Thanks again.

I recommend RIVCO's part number ELCHRN ($79.95) and the wiring kit EH275 ($39.95) this set is 118db one horn mounts under the stock cowbell (or in your case the skull cover you have) and the other mounts on the lower left engine gaurd bolt (or any where else you have an open spot). I have had them mounted on my 2006 Dyna Street Bob since 2005 with no issues. They sound like a super loud car horn, very effective and they look great. The wiring kit makes the installation almost totally plug and play. My horns have saved my a$$ many times!
