Default intercom

What's available for wireless intercom? Been searching a bit but I'd like to hear what works best.

For a couple years, I had IMC's "wired" intercom on my bike. Didnt have any problems with it until I screwed up one of the plugs. Now, GF and I have Scala's G4 set. I like the bluetooth capabilities....either playing MP3s from phone, receiving a phone call, or GPS instructions. I've listened to my SIRIUS via 'hard wire'...that works good too. Her brother and his wife also bought the set. I can say the 4-up intercom works well too...used it on a spring trip to the Tx Hill Country. Not cheap....but seems worth it....so far.

Biggest complaint is 'no half-helmet' capability. I havent tried, but it MIGHT work with the speaker pockets I had for the IMC version.

+1 on the Scala system. We have 'em & love 'em. Great reception, blue tooth, etc., etc. What a huge difference when you can carry on a nice conversation while riding instead of having to wait until you stop.

I use a Nolan helmet with their built in NCom bluetooth communication. Also works very well with the same capabilities as the Scala. The nice part about it is that its built in to the helmet so its a bit more streamlined and less obvious.

Wife and I have Schuberth C3s with their integrated blue-tooth, courtesy Scala. Best of both worlds!

thanks. I had a J&M setup on my goldwing that was wired into the bike's system. I adapted the helmets so everything was internal and hardly visible. With the RoadKing, I don't want to mount anything on the bike and run wires etc..... I'll check out the ones mentioned

If your not looking to spend a fortune you might want to check out these.

if you look on ebay you can probably find a pair for around $75. I have a pair. There ok for intercoms, you wouldn't want to listen to music, but voice is good.
