Just to bust your chops a little, I find it ironic you mention you drank a 6 pack and then went for a test drive followed by a "ride safe" at the end of your post.
He said "took me about 4 hours and just shy (of) a 6 pack".
According to my calculations, that's 5 beers in 4 hours, hardly impairing.
Just installed the Arnott on my 10 RG and the ride is a lot better than I experianced when I installed the same system on my 06 SG but it takes longer to pump up the shocks for some reason
Mine has a slow leak I cannot seem to track down. The setup on my v rod is 4 years old and holds like a champ. For some reason on my SG it just wont hold.
i mounted the compressor, valve block behind right side frame cover.. and mounted a switch/gauge bracket on the frame behind the rear cylinder.. ill post some pics
That's what i wanted to hear Tags. Dropping bike off today to get them put on. I have ABS so I heard the compressor has to go in the faring. I already had the legend switch put on when getting new bars a few months back. Want to see the pics of the gauge that you put on. Im still wondering where mine is going to be.
i wanted the same set up myself.. upon reading posts on here everyone seemed to like having a gauge to find that sweet spot everytime. so i opted to go with the swich n gauge combo.. any complants?? i have this popping sound well i inflate seems that the bladder is getting stuck on itself and pops free as air rushes in, arnott says that will go away with time????
do you have any pictures of the guage and switch combo i am very torn myself between the legand air ride or the arnott alden system the handlebar mounted switch from legand looks very clean but i would want a apg as well so if yours is a combo that may be the way to go
Ok gotta ask, you can't see the gauge going down the road right? I've thought about replacing the air temp gauge with an air pressure gauge on my Road Glide.

You have to pump it up then use window cleaner around all the fittings and look for bubbles. you have to spray the window cleaner not pour over fittings to see the leaks. If you find leaks use pipe thread sealant.

yes the fairing mount gauge would be allot easier to see but the extra labor for myself pulling the farring and running the wires up there wasnt worth it for me.. a quick glance down you can see the neddle through the top of the gauge.. the plastic face of the gauge isnt flush in profile it pertrudes out just enough too see thru the top..
