Read recently in another thread of someone who wanted to change one of his sprockets from 30T to 32T over vice versa.
Anyone know what the sprocket options are on both sprockets associated with the primary chain.
Im thinking at the very least that the sprocket arrangements for late model bikes with the same engine vary depending on product line, so for example a Dyna model and toruing model would have different sprocket tooth arrangements.
A couple options that I researched from Evo Industries were to go from 34T to 30T on the crank sprocket and lose the compensator, or go from 46T to 49T on the clutch hub and keep the compensator. I went the clutch hub route and am very pleased with it. Got about 300 rpm increase where I'm turning about 2800 rpm at 70 mph in 6th gear.
If you only want a moderate rpm increase the 68 tooth Japanese sportster pulley is a good option and easy to do. You can find the sprocket for about $125 on line. I put one on mine which I already had installed the IDS. Makes your 07 the same gearing as later models.
