I just bought a 2009 Electra Glide Classic and ordered a pair of CFR
slip-ons with the packing removed along with an RSD air cleaner. I really like the look of the Klock Werks Double Back Headers, but a sales rep at Klock Werks said the headers will decrease back pressure. I'm nervous pairing the headers along with the CFRs will create little to no back pressure and really kill the performance. Does anybody have experience with this combo, or any other true dual headers with the CFRs? I plan getting it tuned and dynoed once the parts arrive with the SE Race tuner.
I've also read that the stock headers are good and that I don't gain much from changing them. Does anyone know the difference in sound between the stock headers and aftermarket headers with CFRs? I've seen a few you tube clips, but the sound quality lacks on a computer.
never heard them on stock headers but i had them on my true duals and yes u will loose performance. i took them off my bike and sold them. hey they sound great i think the best sounding ever made i did a 4000 mile road trip with the CFRs very disapponted performance wise after that trip i sold them and went back to thunderheader.
