Not sure where in Southeast MO you are located, but you could ride in AR. They have some scenic routes etc (google motorcycle and arkansas), or you could ride north up 67 or into the national parks??
You could take the Dorena ferry to Hickman, visit Columbus-Belmont park, then back home through Cairo. That's about it if you want to stay within 100 miles...
If talking 100 mikes one way you have quite a few options.
61 north is a decent ride nothing to exciting but good roads with ok curves.
72 out towards fredricktown is also pretty nice.
34 to marble hill is ok especially on the west side of marble hill (currently road construction).
You can take either of the last 2 out to 21 and it's a nice run. If want to get a little farther out you can get on 106 for some real nice riding.
Can head of to IL and run grapevine trail up to tamms, cut up to Anna and stop at the Blue Boar (great place). Then head up old 51 to Cobden (Fuzzies is a good stop) from there you can continue up old 51 to giant city park
Consider going to Bixby Mo off of HWY 32 in the Mark Twain Forest. Roads are paved windy and banked. There is a gas station/general store where you can get a premo rootbeer float.
Hwy 21 though arcadia, visit Tom saulk(sp) mountain, through lesterville, ellington to HH to peidmont, Greenville.
In other words, ANYWHERE in the Mark Twain Forest is awesome riding....and watch out for the newly introduced ELK in Carter, Renolds and Shannon counties...
Sounds like it's going to be a great trip. I miss my old stomping grounds a lot. I need to get back there for a visit soon. Try to stay cool! Have fun.
