I think i would go with hog tunes you can get them for around 90 dollars shiped to your house. Also if you get 2ohms they will be louder than 4ohms you will just lose alittle base
go with hertz 6.5, you need the adapter rings. i had hog tunes they arent even close. if you are running an amp better go with a high end speaker. the hertz sound and perform great with or without an amp.
Do you have a part number or link for these speakers?
I just installed the Boom speakers on Friday. I'm very happy with the improvement. I'm sure you can get louder or crisper sounding but for the money, I'm happy. All I wanted was to be able to clearly hear the music at highway speeds and now I can, the stock speakers didnt even come close.

Htahnk, I orderd a set of the HD Boom Audio speakers on Sat afetr reading the feedback and I heard a set at the dealer on Sat. with my parts discount at the dealer I can get them for about 120 and they are direct plug and play and will be covered by my factory warranty since Im installing them with in 60 days of purchase
I know when I was at an audio store a couple weeks back the discounted price for the Hertz High Energy Speakers like in the Biketronics kit were about $250 without adapters.
I have the J&M 7.25's and to be honest I am not that impressed with them. I bought them because they claimed to be a big improvement over stock without adding an amp. I really dont see it. Maybe with the amp they are a lot better but I can only speak from my experience without. This is my opinion so no need to bash if you are happy with your 7.25's.
I had the same results. The J&M 7.25's suck!
