So a couple of weeks back I posted how I thought I had a bent valve on my 2010 street glide. Was losing compression thru the big breather kit.So I call my local dealer figuring it would warrantied. NOPE cause a 103 stage 4 kit its covered for only 90 days according to harley. So I decide to take it to the local custom shop. Great guys. They always do right by everyone. So the tear apart my motor and find the rings on my pistons let go and completely tore up the cylinders. So the best part was this entire kit was installed by the dealer I bought it from but I'm assed out on the deal cause the dealer shut its doors 3 months after I bought the bike. So $2100 later they are replacing what broke and going over the bike with a fine tooth comb. If anyone from Mills Harley Davidson reads this go Fu_k yourselfs! You guys screwed me more than I could imagine. So had to vent. Was reading a post by someone who got shafted also. When are dealerships gonna realize. The economy is in the ******* and they still f over the little guys that spend money on bikes. You would think Harley Davidson would be all over the dealers but they don't give a ****. They just want their payments on time or the come and take your bike. Don't get me wrong I love my street glide and everyone should by american but atleast take care of your own Harley Davidson.
Sorry to hear about your problem. Did you right a letter to Harley yet, may or may not help. but maybe they could have supplied the parts for free or at a substantial savings. I know your bike is fixed know, so maybe you could sell the parts if they did that. Worth a try. Good luck
Wow, that really sucks, I guess now we probably know one of the reasons they went out of business. The dealer I bought my bike from seems to be pretty decent, but I still do the service myself, unless it's warranty.
Sorry to hear about your on-going problem. Funny (not really though), but while business is booming, dealers/owners aren't afraid to **** off, and generally treat customers like crap...all the time thinking to themselves, "where else are they going to go?". But, like anything else in a boom/bust economy, when business tanks they want to know where their customers are why there's no "loyalty" any longer. Collectively, their memory is so short that they forgot they tried to screw us...but we didn't forget. Perhaps is your dealer had been a bit more assisting, and less conniving, he'd still be in business.

Sorry to hear about your trouble.
I've had nothing but positive experiences with Mills sales, parts and service. Was sorry to see them shut the doors in July of last year.
I purchased my 2011 SG from Barb's about 3 months ago, and bought a bunch of accesories.
They gave me a good deal on the bike and showed lots of love at the time of purchase.
After 2 bike purchases within the same year you would figure they would have cut me a deal on the ESP. They were trying to charge me $200 over MSRP on the ESP.?. and no discount on parts or service? WTF. I was going to buy the Service plan they offer with it, but I'll find a different dealer for that too.
