good for y'all for taking such a trip.... I agree with gipper - who cares how many miles you rode per day.

and to thegrants82 - go buff your handlebars!! you have no idea how many miles they rode each day. unless you were there.....

Congrats on your ride. 24 days. I would kill to have that much time off.

I just got back from a 2300 mile ride, and I thought that was cool until I read this post. I was gone 8 days. That means I averaged like 287 miles a day. So I'm a failure, too.

Dang it. I thought I had so much fun.

That's an awesome trip, and one that I would LOVE to take slowly for the sheer enjoyment of it all, just as they did.

I can only hope that some day it's a dream come true, OP. Well done!
The wife and I just did a 3 day trip and enjoyed ourselves for 450 miles (yep, avg 150/day). Riding is fine but we like to take our time and check out the areas we are traveling through.
24 days on the road would be awesome.

I'm not the one with the calculator in hand trying to impress everyone. when do you graduate from 4th grade?

Exactly. I was in the same place for three days. So I actually averaged 460 miles on the riding days. Still short of 500 though, so still a fail, I guess.

Dang it again. I want to be a real biker. I want to be a real biker. I want to be a real biker.

Youth....it's wasted on the young and the stupid. Rather than run down the hill as fast as I can to bang one, I think I'll slowly walk on down and bang them all.

we had some 400+ mile days but generally kept it around 300 a day. I've ridden 500 miles in one day a few times but that was years ago. I've been riding for 30 years so whatshisface can kiss my tired ***. now I suppose he's gonna say he's been riding for 31 years.
