hey guys
a quick question for a buddy about to purchase a 2004 electric glide classic. all stock with 60,000 kms. its pretty clean, one owner.
is 12,500 canadian a good deal??????
Pricing questions are hard to answer...if the bike is clean, and its worth the money to your "buddy"...then that price is an excellent price. When dealing with expensive bikes you're going to get a lot of different answers and opinions. Bottom line is whatever the bike is worth to your buddy is the best price for him. Some might tell you to take that money and dump it into a newer bike...there's been some upgrades since 04. Some might tell you there's a better bargin out there somewhere else. Go ask someone who doesn't own a Harley if what we pay is worth the money....I wouldn't wait for someone on forums to tell what's worth it or not....just my opinion!
Having sold 2 bikes in the last couple of years I can tell you that what a bike is worth is only what someone is willing to pay for it. Regardless of what Kelly Blue Book, NADA Guides or people around here say.
Bought my 04 EGC last Year with 58.6k miles and a two year service contract at a local dealership for $11,155.00. Your buddy should be able to do good at his offer if not better.
..so in the USA he would be offering $13,150 for an 04 EG Classic with 37,260 miles on it....I think he should be about $1500 American, cheaper on his offer...
