Traded my 2008 SG with cruise and ABS for a 2011 SG with cruise. Traded for $1,884.00 and that includes tax, title and license. Also get to keep my sundowner seat, backrest and tourpak. I know the seat and backrest won't fit but will be selling them, the tourpak will fit with a new rack.

Thanks man, yes Dubuque HD. I was talking to my Cousin and he traded his 2007 for $2,500.00, they have discounts of almost 3K on 2011.
I have a buddy at work that trades every 2 years at Dubuque and always makes out really well. I use Clinton HD which has also always treated me very well. Ride safe!

...WOW!..that's a smokin deal...but I would love to know what the dealers logic is on this...they are pretty much into your bike now for about $17,000...so what do they think they can sell that for?...don't see how they make ANY money on your bike...must have wanted to move the 2011 bad..but now they are gonna be stuck with that 08 for a while I bet...good for you though..good luck
I also bought my 2011 from Dubuque back in January. I got an awesome deal as well. Got a 2011 with a 96, cruise and abs. Out the door price was 19200. Beat my local deal by a 1000. Local dealer wasn't sure how they even made that happen and thought it was fishy.
Anyway I called up there a few weeks later and the salesman I bought it from was "gone". I asked the receptionist where he went and she said "change of business".
I got a good deal and either he knew he was leaving and wanted to make them suffer or something. He was adamant about me getting there before that coming Saturday so the deal was made in two days over the phone.
Congrats and enjoy.
