Any one mounted the HD Fog Lights for engine guard. I have a 2006 Street Glide and I want more lighting at night, but don't want to go with the typical auxillary lighting solution. Description says it comes with wire harness, relay and switch. How hard is it to install? Does the switch go in to the fairing console?

I installed them on my 2003 Electra Glide Standard about a year ago, and I love them. They do make a difference at night. The instructions are very simple and self explaining. It took about 90 minutes to do. I had a friend help me, and it was a piece of cake. Just follow the instructions. I mounted my on/off switch up by the radio controls on the left hand side of the handlebars. I used one of the screws in the housing cover. I think they look great and are well worth it.
PriestFan: Where do these lights really shine (pun intended). Do they light up more of the side of the road or straight ahead?? Or a little of both. Have you ever done a night test by switching them off just to see how much of a difference they make???
The one thing that's stopped me from getting these is the wiring harness. I don't want to zip tie black wires to the bottom of my highway bars. I've considered drilling holes, and feeding wires through to the bar mount area.
I'd like to see some detailed pics of these installed too--especially the wiring.
