Default Snoopy shield helps buffeting

I've been working to reduce the buffeting on my new SG. After doing some reading here, I came across a post that said that your helmet could contribute to buffeting. I just bought a new 3/4 Shoei helmet and love it, but was wondering if it was contributing to my buffeting problem. So I ordered this shield. It looks goofy, but it did help with the buffeting.

The shield does rattle a bit at highway speeds, so I need to work on fixing that. But if it helps with the buffeting, I'll try it for a while and see how I like it. If you're interested, here's a link:

The majority of head buffeting come from under the fairing. I put a 7 in windshield on my ultra and made no difference. then i opened the Fairing Air Deflectors and then i had buffeting. Put on the Fairing Air Deflectors and you will be in the money.

Unfortunately, the lowers don't fit a Street Glide.
