rambo11:

thanks to you and all the other vets that preceded us. you gave America a conscience, so that returning warriors are not treated disrespectfully like you were. We all didn't set the nations policy on war, we just answered our Nation's call, just like previous generatons of patriots.

Although most Americans don't realize that we are fighting those who wish to kill and destroy our country, we still have those who are willing to stand up and fight for our freedoms.

thanks for your service. I am proud to call all of you my fellow brothers-in-arms.

GOD bless all our men and women in uniform. When people get jealous of some of the benefits that I enjoy from being retired from the military let them put a price on a missing leg, or arm, or both or life itself. There is no amount of money or benefits that you can pay a person for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make for this country. Hug a vet today and tell them you appreciate their service.

Thanks and same to you. I know we would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Sacrifices- hell yes!! I am not impressed in the way this country treats its honored vets, the politicians and peace lovers ought to be embarrassed. We all want peace and a great nation, but someone has to go do the job/work. We just have the convictions to see it through. We could do a lot better in the way we treat all our vets! I have the greatest respect and gratitude to anyone in uniform, past and present. Happy Veterans day one and all..I’m going for a ride to show my pride..
