Thanks for all the input and pics. I really think blue looks the best but don't want any trouble from law enforcement. I'm thinking of going with white or clear, what ever it's called.
Cruiser Level 3 package from Custom Dynamics. Also added another 2 9 LED strips under the front fender. Two strips under tank, one inside horn, one under A/C, one shining on trans and one strip under each bag.
I install them locally here. ( Memphis ). I always use a remote control and custom cut each section. Average 240 leds per bike. Time consuming, but I like doing that kinda stuff.
I used Boogey Lights and followed the directions for placement. Get 2 extra strips for under the saddlebags. I have an '09 and there was already a hole behind the engine on the left side (Right in front of +side of battery) perfect for the supplied on/off switch.
I really like the lights. I got purple but they aren't as bright as the other colors. You should be fine with blue as long as they aren't flashing while riding but check you state statutes.

Looks good bucket.. Nice even lighting front to back..
Joe Florida has GREAT customer service too. I had a bad brain box so I called him. He walked me thru trouble shooting and then immediately mailed me a new one.
So here is a link to some pics and a thread I started, complete with video, to my Joe Florida LED installation a few years ago. Still going strong too!
