progressive mono tubes backordered
i have been trying to locate a set of mono tubes for my SG, i finally last week just placed an order, and hopefully should have them in a week or so, but damn i have been searching for like 3 weeks prior to that trying to locate them.
they are back ordered like crazy, i called progressive today, and they are sending units out, bu those are just to fill the orders already placed.
so if you want a set better get a order placed and get in line.. get ready to wait a while too.

I got mine as soon as they started offering the lowered version. I went to their booth, (I believe it was at Biketoberfest) when they first announced they had them, they had sold out, so I immediately put an order in with the dealer, took almost a month, but well worth the wait.

I got mine and combined with the 940's on the rear, the progressive touring link and the velva ride motor mount, my bike is night and day better than it was before.
I hear Motorcycle Metal has a kit to put Ohlins Cartridge inserts in the forks.. I will probably do those in a year or two...

Ok.. I did some research on this.. Phat Performance is a very cool operation btw..
They do have some of the monotubes in stock.
I called Progressive and confirmed that they are on back order in so many places, because they did redesign them. They started shipping out the new redesigned monotubes 2 months ago. So if the distributer received the suspension in the past 2 months, then the ones they have ARE in deed the correct revised product.
I callled Phat Performance, and they confirmed that they received the shipment 2 weeks ago, so they are fresh. I placed an order. Hope this helps. I don't think they have many left. Seems as though they got several orders for them, since this thread was opened.
