I too have one of these. MUCH louder than stock. If I am correct. Stock is 79 dbs and the Mini is 128 dbs. By all means not a Diesel Truck or Train sounding horn, but for sure much more noise. As far as being heard, it works better. But Trust me, you still have to watch those cagers. My bike is real bright and they still (cagers) can't see it.
They are too busy texting, talking, putting on make up, reading, shaving, etc, or just plain no respect for two wheelers.
As far weight, they are kinda heavy, I have heard that some folk have had their bracket break, the ones that have broke seem to happen in the winter months. So be careful and keep an eye on it.
