Default CVO saddle bag extensions?

Has anyone put these on a pre '04 bike?( pn 90999-09) HD states '04 up. The dealer told me in '04 the saddle bag mounting and exhaust bracket changed for a wider tire. Said the extension will hit the exhaust on the earlier bikes.

I keep visualizing the CVO extensions with a RWD rear fender extension/ fillers on my 02 RG.

Nobody has done or tried it? Native Custom Baggers has what looks identical to the HD extensions, and they say for 93+ bags. Maybe the bags, but not the bike? I really don't see why they will not work, but I also don't have the extensions or an '04 bike to compare or test fit with. I really don't want to roll the dice and spend the dough if it will not work or look correct after making it work.

I just looked at those. They look nice, especially with the HD led fender light extension. But, I'm not sure if it is the look i'm going for. I'm looking to have my bike blend the look of the '01 FLTRSEI2 and '09 CVO FLTR.
