Alot of the dealers had to paint them just to get rid of them. One in Tampa here painted six of them black. Paint it and enjoy!

...starting to think there are more "commemorative"-"special edition", and "anniversary" bikes by Harley, than non-special ones. Never saw a company that so over-did it with that nonsense...remember hearing guys in 2000 talking to dealers about "how can I get on a list NOW to get a 2003 100th?",.. and how hard it was going to be to get one of those..what a joke...who cares now?,...no one except those who own one...paint your bike any way you want...it has no extra value as a 105..

Now that's what I'm talking about. Looks real good in black. I haven't priced a paint job yet but I'm sure a good one isn't cheap. I am even considering trying to buy a complete set of used tins in black. I'll have to see what the cost is.

There's always a decent collection of painted sets on EBAY it seems. Might wanna watch that for a while.

My understanding is that God forgives all sins and if it makes you feel any better to know it God had His RoadGlide painted a different color than the factory paint that was on it.
