Default wind splitter

Ok, so I'm in the dealership the other day and was looking at the wind splitter windshield. I like the look of it on the street glide in the showroom and the parts guy tells me I can here my radio "Soooo" much better on the highway with it... Anyone that can back that up before I drop $170?

have ridden two Ultras with wind splitters. I am 6' and too me it was like riding with no shield at all. I like the clear view I have much better. I believe it is an 8" and it has the recurve at the top.

You know mixter, when he told me $170 I looked him dead in the eye and asked, "What else does it do?!" He looked at me funny when I told him there was no way it could cost that much. Then he gave me the innovation speal that I wasn't buying either lol

I rode a friend's bike with the Windsplitter and I wished it was about two inches taller to deflect a bit more wind. I really like the shape of it, but the coverage wasn't much better than the deflector on the Street Glide. Like others, I opted for the Klock Werks in 8.5" height.

I'm 5'6" and tried both over the weekend. Bought the 6.5" Klockweks as it does a much better job. Only bummer is I can't use my windhshield bags any more.

The windsplitter was still to short for me so I got a national cycle Vstream Ultra Low which I think looks similar but is about 2 inchs taller.

It was $99 I think.

I'm 6'3'' and tried the Windsplitter on my Street Glide. A little better than the stock 4'', but not much. Keepin' my 10'' Freedom Shield.

I am 5’8” and the Windsplitter works pretty good for me. However, if I was going to buy another windshield, I would go with the Klock Werks 8”.
