Default wet a$$

Every time the stock seat on my 2011 SG gets rained on, washed, or even a little morning dew sets in, my A$$ gets wet on the next ride or two.

The water manages to seep into the seams where it waits patiently for the next riding session to wick out on A$$.

Anyone have a remedy?? Seam sealer? Bad seat? ???

With leather, I use Sno-seal. It works great. I'm not sure with a vinyl seat.

I've had a Sundowner seat for 5 years and never had this problem.

+1 It does work on vinyl, just use it on the stitches only.
On leather seat you can use it all over.

@ogh11756
Just in this second I was writing just the same.
Yep, seal the stitches. If no water get's in - no Water get's out.
Just warm Sno-Seal up with a Hair-Dryer so it can slick into the stitches.

In case the problem is caused by your Butt, Pam..rs will help too.

Holy cow, I was just about to post this same exact question as you! I have the same problem on my 10 SG's Sundowner seat, guess I'll be trying Sno-Seal.

I use H-D leather conditioner & when it is wet I just sit on it and it's dry in 30 mins. Try some Red Wing Boot Conditioner it also works really good on leather.
