Just got done installing the Biketronics Titan Amp & 6 1/2" Hertz Speakers in my SG Fairing.
I was amazed that the speakers only weigh 2 lbs/12oz, since the smaller Hog Tune speakers I removed weighed in at 2 lbs/11oz.
The amp is super light and will not put any stress on the radio. I reinforced my vertical fairing brackets and installed the new shorter head handlebar clamp bolts that caused vibration damage to my HK radio.
Pretty straight forward install but you have to read the instructions. I used the low input convertor that came with the system to hook up my Hog Tunes Tweeter Pod.
The sound quality is loud and clear at 3/4 volume without the fairing on, so I'm sure it will be even louder once I put the fairing on tomorrow.
The system was $499.95 shipped from Eastern Performance in MD.
As you can see, it's a clean installation that does not take up much space compared to the big, bulky amps other businesses sell.
