I have a 2004 RK Custom, stock 88. Just bought a pair of Screamin Eagle slip ons, part # 64910-99, they are slash down, and are the ones that have "not for road use " on them. I also have a V&H Fuel Pak w/ a KN high flow a/c
Here's my question. According to my V&H settings book, there's 2 choices, one for SE Pro pipe one piece slash down - whatever one piece means- there are 2 mufflers, and the other setting says SE Street performance touring mufflers. Any suggestions?, anyone have similar experience? Thanks.
I had basically the same setup on my 04' EGC but had a power commander and ran a very basic map. Performance was great but never had it tuned. The SE mufflers had "for off road use only" stamped on them.
The part # you have is a SE Pro pipe one piece slash down. One piece means the mufflers are one piece with no removable end caps. They make the same muffler with removable interchangeable end caps. Make sure you use the stock HD muffler clamps and tighten down real good.
Go with the Pro Pipe setting, the Fuel Pak doesn't alter the fuel enough to make a big difference.
