RE: Custom front fender project & looking for some feedback
Very attractive fender....I would leave it as is...I like the lines of the fender tip as it came.
I would really like a fender that looked like it was molded to the radius of the wheel like that, but I also want to keep the look of the fender skirt; which I also like.
I think I am just going to go with the nativecustombaggers fender lowering brackets this winter.

I am putting the same fender on my road king. with out any modifications, I am going to pick it up from the painter this week, and can post some pic's if you would like.

I like it either ways but if I was forced to choose I would say trim it. The real deciding factor would be how difficult is it to trim without messing it up?

Good choice on the Native Custom bracket. My Dad put one on his SG, really changed the look of the front end. I like it.

Thanks for all the feedback, its probably going to be a couple months before its painted due to my painter is swamped & the weather here in the great northwest is wet wet wet for awhile, I will post when its all done though.
I bought this one off Ebay for around $200, very good quality, the spacers are 3/4", fender is a RWD part#1925-2755, its called a "rambler", measures 6.25" wide & is designed for a 16" wheel.
I think I'll trim it a bit, pretty easy with a die grinder & then finish it with a 6" disc sander, make a paper template of the front after the one side is done & then reverse it so both sides match.
