Default Hang Down Mirrors ?

Any recommendations on mirrors that work well hanging down upside down. I had 11" Santee bars installed yesterday in Sturgis and I bought One-Piece Round Mirrors with the idea I would hang them down but they do not have enough swivel to position them.

I am going to return them anyway because they don't have a wide enough field of view, being round instead of tear drop shaped, but I am wondering if I will have the same problem swiveling them in position. Its a PITA taking off the mirrors in the parking lot, repackaging them to return them if the standard tear drop shaped ones won't work either.

What is anyone using for mirrors hanging them down? Any picts? I searched but couldn't find anything.

You can take the stock mirrors off another tourer and mount them upside down, provided your bars are high enough to keep your arms out of the view.

I used 3" rounds mounted upside down on my sporty with 12" apes. My elbows blocked my veiw, but i could lift my elbow a little and see just fine. On my SG i went with 14" Santee apes, and i kept my stock mirrors. My controls block a little bit at the top of the mirrors, but still have more view than i did with the 3" on my sporty.

I used the tear drop style on my 02 RKC and my 09 SG, both had Wild1 12.5 bars, obviously the SG had bagger apes. I added a small blind spot mirror to the left side mirror on both bikes... gave me a little more warm and fuzzy knowing what's behind me. I'm very happy with them, works well for me.

If you mount them that way, can you see anything in them other than you own arms?
