I am getting everything together to do a bar swap and thought about adding cruise control when I did. Is it worth the money? Do you use yours a lot? Thanks for the advice in advance.
I'm a no frills kinda a guy and was largely unimpressed by the doodads and gadgets on my Electra Glide Classic, but I gotta say... I love my cruise control and I use it all the time. Its a good thing.
If I didn't have cruise, I would think at the very least you would want a throttle boss. I have one on my Vulcan and I like it too; its almost as good. Fatigue builds up in my throttle hand pretty quick on long rides.
I don't have cruse control on my 09 egc, not that I'm opposed to it, I use the friction wheel when I'm on the highway so my hand doesn't get too tired. Works OK if there aren't many hills.

I was starting to think I was the only one that still used the friction wheel.
