I suggest you ride it stock for a while, at least to the 1K service. That way you can get the feel of the bike, what you like and don't like. As suggested, getting rid of the cat and openning intake will be something you will likely want and do. Enjoy and learn about it for a while.

Welcome. This place is great for help with everything. It also is a great place to get ideas for mods that you've never thought of (which can be good or bad). It's been a great resource for places to get parts for less with better service.
