I received my tourpac installed it on 07 road glide.
Question, Is there an extension for the lights (ultrapac) and
antenna wire I am about 6" short of pluging these in.
For now I just plugged in an old hidden antenna I had
and placed it under the pac liner.
I did manage to pull the light wires out from under the metal plate that was bolted down inside the
pac. I pushed it through the hole and just managed to plug in to the one that is under the seat.
It is stretched to the limit I wish I had a few more inches so that it is not so tight.
I might have to cut the wire and splice some in, cover it with shrink tubing.
I should not have to do this. Seems like there should be an extension one could bye.
Thanks
Are you sure that the cable under the seat isnt wrapped around something? I know there is more than enough slack in mine.an the connection is inside the tourpack under the liner. I would make sure before I spliced into it.
But if your gonna splice in a mod I did was add a power outlet in the tourpack to charge an Ipod or cell phone. Just a thought.
