Removed my mufflers from the Limited to send to American Custom. Expected an extremely loud exhaust driving the bike back into the garage. It was so quiet that you'd think the mufflers were still on. That stuffed up head pipe will soon be replaced.
I ordered a set of FuelMoto Jackpot ceramic coated head pipes through my local dealer so that I could pay for everything all at once. The dealer hasn't received them yet and it's going on 7 weeks. Hopefully they'll get them soon. I don't know what the hold up is.
I was hoping it wasn't going to make em too much louder and I got just enough resonance. Kinda like adding a set of slip-ons. I can tell the differance in the heat.
I replaced my header with the American Custom Powerflex. I wanted to go that way before deciding on which slip-on. It got a little louder, performs better and runs cooler. I am happy with it.
Replaced my stock headers with the V & H dresser duals on my 11 limited recently. I am pleased with the sound coming from my stock slipons for now. I may be looking into slip-on with a deeper sound and maybe just a tad louder but for now I am pleased.

Reason: wrong headpipe.
I like the sound I am getting from my Supertrapp SE's with the cat still in header. Deeper bassier sound but not much louder. Great mellow tone while cruising and still barks if I twist the throttle. Maybe one day I'll go with new head pipe but for now the sound is perfect
