Default PCIII question

i have a friend that has an 06 SG with a power commander III on it, he is thinking of switching out to a different unit.

my question is
the base model number on the unit is 805-510

on dynojets website the model number for 02-06 touring bikes is 807-511

and for 07 bikes its 812-511

looking around it seems like the 805-510 is the base model PCIII for a few different years and models.

so my question is will his PC3 work on my bike, or do i need one that is specific for my 07?

What bike do you have?

I'm using the mobile site so if your bike is listed in your sig or something, it isn't shoeing it.
Also, I have recently installed the PCV on my 2010 RK and have heard all kinds of people say I should have used a different tuner. With that said, do some research. Unless you are getting it for free, it might not be worth the trouble.

Fuel Moto offer a PC-V that retro fits to the 2007 model and you will get a warranty and the option to run Autotune along with the other features the PC-V has to offer.

Youll need the O2 sensor eliminators and I think it will work.

It will work. You can get the eliminators from Fuelmoto and get a map from the Dynojet site.

The O2 eliminators plug into the plugs for the sensors. They give the PCM a constant signal, fooling the ECM into thinking they are getting inputs from the sensors. Basically you need the eliminators.
